Get ready to watch Sunderland vs Manchester City live stream streaming online on 1/1/2012. The live online stream commentary and live online radio broadcast English Premiership match between Sunderland and Manchester City at the Stadium of Light could see another upset over the holiday period with the rejuvenated Black Cats itching to get their paws on leaders City. Since Martin O’Neill’s arrival last month to replace the unpopular Steve Bruce before this live English Premiership online streaming football game against Manchester City the Black Cats have adopted a more steely look to their defending and results have improved. With seven points from a possible 12 on offer before this live streaming commentary and live online TV telecast English Premiership match between Sunderland and Manchester City the north east club will be hoping to trip up the current league leaders while pushing themselves further away from the relegation zone. O’Neill is mindful of the fact that while things appear to be turning around for his side, one defeat could instantly sow the seeds of doubt in his players and will be eager for Sunderland not to commit any silly errors against a hungry Manchester City. That will be a difficult task for any club but for Sunderland to do it withou a host of injured players will certainly call upon all the managerial powers and experience of O’Neill and his new team. Sunderland will miss Titus Bramble and Phil Bardsley in defence which could leave space for City’s Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli to exploit, while Connor Wickham is also unavailable once again. Kieran Richardson is rated as 50-50 for the game and O’Neill will be hoping the former Manchester United player can recover in time to provide some cover in the area of the pitch where they need to be at their strongest in order to stifle City.

Watch as Manchester City will have one main job in the second half of the season in the live commentary and live streaming radio broadcast English Premiership match between Sunderland and Manchester City and that is simply to prove that they have the mentality to win and become champions. There is little doubt about the quality of Roberto Mancini’s squad after a first half of the season in this English Premiership live online streaming soccer game against Sunderland which has seen them end the year top of the table while losing just once in 18 matches. However, despite all that they only lead closest challengers Manchester United on goal difference ahead of this live stream commentary and live streaming online TV telecast English Premiership match between Sunderland and Manchester City and already their rivals are setting their sights on them in the hopes of jangling their nerves. Few in Mancini’s team have title-winning experience and none have done so in English football. On paper, Manchester City should wipe the floor with Sunderland but in a hostile Stadium of Light atmosphere and with recent form not the most convincing, Mancini must ensure his players do not lose their nerve and continue to approach games in the same manner as they have done so all season. West Brom found a way to stifle City’s fearsome attacking might in the Eastland giants’ last game but since then Mancini has had a good number of days to find a way to get past teams who set out to park the bus in front of their goal. More now than ever, the likes of David Silva and Mario Balotelli will be needed to call upon their creative genius to help City find a way past packed defences. City also have to deal with the “new manager” syndrome at Sunderland as O’Neill has often shown in the past that he knows how to unsettle the bigger teams with his tactics. In terms of selection, Mancini may opt to recall Micah Richards in defence as the full back has been in good form this season, showing his qualities in both defence and going forward. His rampaging runs down the flank could help unlock the Sunderland defence. Perhaps the most important though is that City can go three points clear of Manchester United should they beat Sunderland today.

West Bromwich Albion vs Everton Live Streaming English Premiership 1/1/2012

Get ready to watch West Bromwich Albion vs Everton live stream streaming online on 1/1/2012. The live online stream commentary and live online radio broadcast English Premiership match between West Bromwich Albion and Everton at the Hawthorns pits two midtable sides against each other, eager to advance their positions in the league. The Baggies are going on the same path under Roy Hodgson in this live English Premiership online streaming football game against Everton as their manager’s former club Fulham had done previously. Having arrived at the Hawthorns last season before this live streaming commentary and live online TV telecast English Premiership match between West Bromwich Albion and Everton and saving the club from relegation whilst at the same time finishing in a comfortable low midtable position, the club are now setting their sights higher in becoming a constant top flight fixture. However, Hodgson is not about to relax his stance over the team’s necessary hard work and commitment in order to simply survive relegation every season. While players have complained about the tedious training they are put through each time by Hodgson in the endless formation and organisational drills, they have admitted their usefulness and results have proven the manager right. The former Inter Milan boss is a perfect match for clubs with squads of only modest talents and is a reason why he failed at Liverpool but has flourished with the likes of Fulham and now, West Brom. Perhaps another club he may do well at is Everton, today’s opponents for WBA but they already have their best manager in David Moyes. Both men will pit their footballing idealogies against each other on the pitch as West Brom hopes to at least maintain their 10th place in the league, picking up more points in order to avoid a late and desperate fight to stay away from the bottom three come May. Menawhile, Hodgson will have a slight selection headache in midfield with Youssouf Mulumbu unable to take part today due to a groin injury. James Morrison is set to deputise for him if he himself recovers from a hamstring strain, while in defence, Billy Jones could play his second game in place of the injured Steven Reid.

Watch as Everton continue to relive Groundhog Day as they find themselves once again in the bottom half of the table in the first half of the season in the live commentary and live streaming radio broadcast English Premiership match between West Bromwich Albion and Everton and working to improve on that position for the rest of the season. Toffees boss David Moyes has seen fit to sound another warning to his players ahead of this English Premiership live online streaming soccer game against West Bromwich Albion that they cannot take for granted another second half revival as they have always done so in the past. The more pressing matter for Moyes in this live stream commentary and live streaming online TV telecast English Premiership match between West Bromwich Albion and Everton will be to find some way to rejuvenate what is increasingly a jaded looking squad. While Everton look capable of coming away with at least a draw against West Brom since both clubs espouse the same hard pressing style and defensive solidity, they have relied on mostly the same set of players for far too many seasons now. The likes of Tim Cahill have been loyal servants for the club but even the dynamic Australian midfielder’s powers have looked on the wane this season. Cahill has not scored for much of the year while even younger midfield counterpart Marouane Fellaini has been struggling with injuries for the best part of the last season and a half. To compound Moyes’ problems, the club has little money to spend – in fact, none to speak of. It would be interesting to see how the club develops next season and it could be the defining one for them – one that could see them end up in the Championship should they fail to find financial backing to freshen up the squad. Meanwhile, loan signing Landan Donovan will not yet be eligible to play today and Everton will miss the American’s pace and attacking qualities.

Manchester United 2-3 Blackburn Rovers: Champions Stunned On Alex Ferguson’s 70th Birthday

On a stunning day of upsets in the English Premiership, none bigger came at Old Trafford where Steve Kean’s Blackburn Rovers defied all odds to overcome Manchester United 3-2 on the day, in the process leaving Alex Ferguson red-faced on the day of his 70th birthday.

Blackburn striker Ayegbeni Yakubu scored twice while defender Grant Hanley snatched the winner as Kean took a leaf out of Ferguson’s book by relying on youth to get the result. While the win may ease some of the pressure on the beleaguered Blackburn manager, it would not have saved some of the United players from their own boss’ wrath.

Certainly the pre-game scene would not have anyone expecting such an end result as Old Trafford celebrated their legendary manager’s birthday to a man. Rovers did not follow the script and showed that the current United side should not be as feared as much as their predecessors. While there is no little amount of quality in a squad boasting the likes of Wayne Rooney and Nani, there are just as many unpolished gems and others who are at best average standard for the champions.

Ferguson did himself no favours by choosing to underestimate the desire of a Blackburn side eager to back their manager publicly with a display of resolute defending and commitment. Rooney was nowhere to be seen on the matchday squad while injuries also left Ferguson with little choice but to pair Michael Carrick and Phil Jones in the centre of defence. However, it was unfortunate Bulgarian star Dimitar Berbatov who set the ball running for the upset by upending Chris Samba in the penalty area that resulted in Yakubu netting the resultant penalty.

The Nigerian then netted once more in the second half to stun United whilst putting Blackburn 2-0 up. However, Berbatov hit back immediately from the restart and United had their tails up for the rest of the half. The incessant pressure on the Blackburn goal then finally told as the Bulgarian scored his second of the game to draw the champions level. Everything up to that moment pointed to United eventually going on to win the game as the likes of Nani, Danny Welbeck and Berbatov continued to pound Mark Bunn’s goalmouth.

Blackburn Rovers’ Grant Hanley profits from another David De Gea error to knock in the winner against Manchester United

However, David De Gea’s goalkeeping woes returned to haunt him as the expensive Spanish acquisition failed to deal with a Blackburn corner properly and Hanley stole in from the resulting confusion to score his side’s third. Despite relentless pressure from United the rest of the game, they were to be denied though, with young substitute Will Keane even contriving to clear off the line for Blackburn Rovers from his own teammate Phil Jones’ goalbound shot in the dying seconds.

There is little doubt that Manchester United remains the best side to push Manchester City for the title this season, but there are serious questions over the long term quality of several players. If Ferguson is serious about keeping United at the top for years to come – especially after his newly announced departure in three years’ time – then the likes of David De Gea are simply not good enough for the English champions. Catch the match highlights below that show how little De Gea has improved since arriving at the club.
